Michael S. Newman, President. Over 35 years telecommunications
engineering experience. Mike has been responsible for the design
and implementation of microwave systems for both Public Safety
Entities and Common Carriers.
Philip M. Kane, Esq./P.E.,
Vice President, General and Regulatory Counsel, and Engineering
Manager. Phil has over 50 years of professional experience in the
communications engineering and regulatory field including 28 years
in an engineering and managerial capacity with the Federal
Communications Commission. He is a specialist in the measurement
and verification of radio system parameters and regulatory compliance.
Catherine F. Newman, Vice President of Marketing & Sales. Cathy
joined CSI in 2008 after more than 25 years in college and professional
publishing, most recently as Senior Acquisitions Editor at the IEEE
Press.
Alicia Charlberg, Telecommunications Analyst. Skilled in FCC
licensing matters, the ULS system and basic CAD; Alicia is also
fluent in Spanish, Italian, and ASL.
Thomas G. Croda, Principal Common Systems Engineer. Over
45 years experience in telecommunications engineering with a focus
on DC and AC power. Tom is an internationally recognized expert
in DC power and grounding systems.
Stan Deller, P.E., Chief Electrical Engineer. Over 30
years of extensive electrical engineering design and management
experience. In his extensive career, Stan has designed the electrical
systems for major computer facilities, offices, power plants,
substations, and other facilities.
David Doon, P.E., Senior Principal Engineer. Over 40
years experience in radio systems engineering measurements.
Experienced with interference resolution and radio direction finding
for interference, Davids prior experience includes senior enforcement
engineering with the Federal Communications Commission and management
of the FCC Microwave Measurement Program.
Andrew Hobson, Senior Project Manager/Senior Principal Engineer.
Over 25 years with the US Coast Guard in operational communications
assignments, logistic support, contract management, research and
development and facilities project management. Andy then spent 14
years with the County of Sacramento, first as the Project Manager
for the development of the SRRCS and then as the System Manager
overseeing the continued operation and enhancement of the system.
Robert F. Olden, Principal Radio Engineer. Over 45 years
experience with implementing microwave and radio communication
systems. Bob's extensive experience with both conventional and trunked
radio systems includes multi-jurisdictional systems.
Timothy M. Pozar, Principal Network Engineer. Over 20
years of experience with network design and deployment. Tim has
engineered and ran the spectrum from enterprise to large national ISP
backbones.
William F. Ruck, Principal Radio Engineer. Over 35 years
experience in radio frequency communications, and systems engineering
and implementation. Bill is proficient in the measurement of radio
frequency signals and problem resolution.
Chris Suter, Principal Public Safety Consultant. Over
30 years experience in supervision of fire suppression and emergency
responses. Developed communications systems for the San Ramon
Valley Fire Protection District including designing and managing
two 911 communications center complete designs.
